Wallypower 118 — The Stealth of the Sea

Few yachts have challenged convention as boldly as the Wallypower 118. Introduced in the early 2000s by Wally, its low profile, sharp geometry, dark glass surfaces, and almost stealth-like appearance broke dramatically with traditional yacht design. More reminiscent of a futuristic vessel than a conventional luxury yacht, it introduced an entirely new visual language on the water.

Developed around exceptional performance, the Wallypower 118 combined advanced composite construction with an extraordinary propulsion system capable of pushing the yacht beyond 60 knots. Yet its significance extends far beyond speed. Long uninterrupted surfaces, an angular glass structure, and a distinctive vertical bow created a remarkably pure and architectural form. More than two decades after its introduction, the design still appears strikingly modern.

Rather than recreating the yacht itself, this sculptural interpretation explores the essence of its radical design philosophy. Details are reduced and surfaces refined to emphasise the tension between sharp geometry and flowing movement. Its unmistakable silhouette is distilled into an abstract three-dimensional composition where proportion, precision, and the yacht's stealth-like character become the defining elements.

More than a tribute to an iconic yacht, this sculpture celebrates a design that deliberately challenged established conventions. The Wallypower 118 demonstrated that performance and luxury could be expressed through simplicity, innovation, and uncompromising form — transforming one of the most distinctive yachts of its generation into a timeless sculptural interpretation.
