Every sculpture begins with a conversation. Understanding the client's vision is the foundation of every project. Together, we define the desired direction, discussing elements such as material, finish, scale, and the level of abstraction. Whether the goal is an abstract interpretation, a semi-abstract composition, or a highly faithful representation, every sculpture is designed as a unique, bespoke piece.
Once the creative direction has been established, I gather as much reference material as possible. Original blueprints are always preferred, but photographs, technical drawings, and existing 3D data can also provide valuable insight. This research allows me to fully understand the proportions, character, and defining features of the subject before translating them into sculptural form.
The conceptual phase follows naturally. Sometimes ideas begin with quick sketches, while other projects are developed directly in three dimensions. The objective is always the same: to reduce complexity and reveal the pure essence of the design.
The sculpture is then developed in SolidWorks using advanced surface modelling techniques. During this stage, proportions are refined, surfaces are carefully balanced, and every line is considered to create a harmonious composition. The focus is never on reproducing every detail, but on capturing the distinctive character and emotional presence of the original design.
The final stage is visualization. Using KeyShot, I create high-quality photorealistic renders that accurately represent the finished sculpture before production begins. These images allow clients to evaluate every aspect of the design and provide a clear impression of the final result.
From the first concept to the final presentation, every project follows the same philosophy: transforming iconic automotive and aviation design into timeless sculptural interpretations.
